How the cellphone has evolved blog entry:

The cellphone has come a long long way since the beginning. Some could argue that the cellphone has taken over todays society. It is hard to find a single person who does not own a cellphone. It is eve hard to find somebody who doesn't own a smart phone. We have transformed into a world where most couldn't even survive without one. To think back to a time where you had to get a dictionary to know how to spell words is odd to think about. Technology is all around us. Everywhere you look. Just to be able to take a photograph using a little rectangular box in your pocket can be mind boggling. From the initial use of technology you could do multiple different things, like a camera, you could take a photograph, to type something using a typewriter, using a dictionary, call someone, all of these things can now be found on one item in your pocket, there are also numerous apps that allow you to draw! In my opinion the definition of the cellphone is the name of this class; Art & Technology.
The cellphone has evolved tremendously since it was created by Martin Cooper. The amount of add ons and accessories that have been added, and continues to be added, to the cellphone are mind boggling. Without a cellphone is would be hard to thrive in todays society.
Some add ons, which I mentioned before, are the simple things that we don't think twice about.
A keyboard, a SIM card, camera, front cameras, volume buttons, the act of locking your phone, the lock button, charging your phone, a home button, and countless other features that we do not think twice about in our day to day usage.
